Job Summary:
You will inspect deliveries for damage, verify quantities received against packing lists, and ensure that all goods are stored in the designated areas. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth operations within our warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments of goods and materials.
- Inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality, noting any discrepancies or damages.
- Verify quantities received against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Label and store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records of received shipments and inventory levels.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Receiver or similar role in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) and operate warehouse equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
