Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Reach Driver to join our team in Lacey, WA. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to transport pallets of frozen food products within the freezer storage area.
- Safely load and unload pallets from storage racks and trucks using proper handling techniques to prevent damage to products.
- Accurately pick orders according to picking lists and verify quantities to ensure order completeness.
- Perform regular inventory counts and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and food handling procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a reach truck operator in a freezer or cold storage environment.
- Valid reach truck certification and a solid understanding of warehouse operations.
- Ability to work in a cold environment (freezer), with temperatures reaching below freezing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
